Terms of Service / Rules

Preliminary
1. StarLock is currently provided for free, public play. This may not always be the case.
2. The game is owned and operated by Prowler Productions. All contents, including but not limited to web pages, text and story, graphics, scripts, design, music, and characters are the sole property of Prowler Productions.
3. Some renders were created with royalty-free models from the3dstudio.com and 3dcafe.com.
4. Your confidential information will not be sold, traded, shared, or in any way used in a manner not related to providing the StarLock gaming service. Your privacy is important to us.
5. Policies are created and revised at our discretion, and we may do so at any time and without prior notice. Likewise, players may quit the game at any time, and for any reason.

Conditions of Sign-Up
1. Character names should not include profanity, or be based upon contemporary culture (i.e., slang references, pop references, celebrity names, etc).
2. Certain real information is required (seen only by admin), including your real first and last name and real gender. This constitutes confirmation of a legitimate account. If you are unable to provide this information, you should not sign up to play.
3. Each player is allowed one and only one StarLock character. If you attempt to play or create more than one account, you will very likely be caught. Account sharing is not allowed.
4. Because you must initial your sign-up form as agreement to these policies, accounts found in violation may be deleted (without prior notice) at the administrator's discretion.

Conditions of Play
1. We offer no warranty or guarantee regarding the quality of your StarLock gaming experience.
2. No compensation will be given for any problems arising from the use of StarLock, including but not limited to account/character problems due to game bugs or glitches.
3. Inactive players will be deleted after a period of time to be determined by the administrator. Currently, this is 90 days for free players (and 365 days for paid players and subscribers, although since StarLock is currently available at no charge, this does not currently apply).
4. All players are expected to behave maturely and respectfully of the other players.

Penalties
1. StarLock admin reserves the right to take action as necessary against disruptive players, or those who violate this agreement. Action may be in the form of a warning, account suspension, account deletion, notification of ISP TOS violation to your Internet Service Provider (if applicable), a permanent ban from the game, or any other action which is deemed necessary.
2. No progression of penalties should be expected. As an example, your account may be deleted without prior "less severe" penalties, at our discretion. This is not kindergarten.
3. Players banned from StarLock may also be banned from other Prowler Productions games, at the discretion of the administrator.
